The location was convenient near attractions, I found several shops within a short walk. The manager was friendly during check-in. He provided helpful information. The hotel seems to be improving. I think it's under new management.
I noticed some electrical cables exposed in the shower area, this needs addressing for safety. IT was a concern

The room was not up to par. the shower rim was yellowed and the kettle looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. the stairs to the second floor were rickety. The bannister felt loose, and i worried it would snap if i leaned on it too hard. wifi was poor. i wouldn't book again. i feel totally let down.
